About this program
BronxCare Health System (formerly Bronx-Lebanon Hospital) Psychiatry Residency Training Program runs a structured volunteer/observership track for residents, prospective applicants from around the world, and international medical graduates seeking US healthcare exposure.
Available services to observe: Adult Inpatient Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, Consultation and Liaison (Psychosomatic Medicine), Child & Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry, Primary Care, Comprehensive Psychiatry Emergency Program (observe only).
Schedule: rotations are 8-12 weeks. Minimum 3 days/week on service, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If rotating at more than one site, minimum 2 weeks and maximum 4 weeks per site.
