About this program
The Medical College of Georgia welcomes visiting medical students through the Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) program. Visiting electives provides an opportunity to train alongside MCG students and faculty across multiple clinical campuses while gaining exposure to diverse patient populations and clinical environments.

- Currently enrolled in an LCME-accredited medical school
- Authorized by their home institution to participate in the VSLO program
- In good academic standing
- Eligible to participate in clinical rotations
- Have completed prerequisite coursework (if required by the department)
- MCG does not currently accept international medical students or students from offshore medical schools for visiting electives.
