About this program

The Medical Observership Program (MOP) provides an experiential learning opportunity for a physician to directly observe a UofL Health physician in the practice setting

  • The MOP is designed for providers who have successfully completed medical school and are a licensed physician. Additional applicant requirements include:
  • Proof of UofL Health required immunizations:
  • MMR
  • Tdap
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • TB Test (dated within 12 months of the END of the rotation)
  • Influenza (for rotations November – March)
  • Curriculum Vitae and/or Resume
  • Letter of recommendation from a supervising physician
  • Agreement of participant expectations and behavioral standards
  • Signed Acknowledgement Page following review of the Non-Employee Handbook
  • Successful payment of the $250 program application fee.
