About this program
Sidney Kimmel Medical College (Thomas Jefferson University) accepts visiting medical students from a fixed list of international partner medical schools only. All students attending an international medical school — regardless of citizenship — are considered international medical students for this program.
Partner schools currently accepted: Ben-Gurion University (Israel), Cattolica Medical School at Universitá del Sacro Cuore (Italy), Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel), Humanitas University (Milan), KLE University (India), Technion Medical College (Israel), Tel Aviv University (Israel), University of Bologna (Italy), University of Minho (Portugal), Universidad CES (Colombia — Medellín).
International visiting clerkships are not available in all clinical departments. Application deadline is six months prior to the start of the clinical elective block.
Rotations may take place at any Jefferson Health affiliate hospital, including Abington Hospital, Methodist Hospital, and the Center City Philadelphia campus.
